Good morning, hey my bro
Can you do this party yo?
It's just been slumbering deep inside your heart—
You don't be blind
To what the future hides dyed by sunrise as we're urged on to arise.

Now! (Now!) Wherever shall we go? (Go!)
As this deep blue sea
Is dyed a brilliant gold,
This morning will be one of gratitude!

Good morning! Morning! Don’t worry!
Just take a look—the sun has risen, Yay, Yeah! (Yay, Yeah!)
The light that glistens and glows—
It's right under your nose.
I could just burst into song and dance…
Any day of the week!

Good morning!
It's our celebration,
Good morning!
Can't stop moving, let's start the party…

Somewhere between an anniversary and a birthday, how's that sound for a party?
Let's have a ball, the day doesn't belong to anyone!

For each and every one,
We're all ride or die in this place made by you and Ithat's our paradise!

Now! (Now!) Let's take back the dawn! (Go!)
The night may be long,
But that just means the tears glistening in our eyes
Will make the morning shine even brighter
Welcome to brand new "Dawn"!!

Now, we set sail through the seas of futility and embark on a new possibility,1
Seen off by the last bit of melting snow carried by the raging winds.2
That thing filling with you with regrets nowhere to be seen, so stop gritting your fangs,3
Just enjoy the most magnificent celebration brought to you by 54
Let us be your cloud's silver lining, (Yeah!) Time to take off! (Yeah!)5
Your heart needs some TLC? Leave it to the sunRize!6

I never had a place where I truly belonged, try as I might.
I found myself lost in the clouds, blindly searching for light.7
We fight, lose sight, mortified, in a crisis made up of baseless lies,
We cry, cry, cry for more like fools who never learn their lesson in time.

But we finally reached the best spot of all,
And the night we wasted on apologies
Will lead to a morning of gratitude!

Good morning! Morning! Don't worry!
We're all one of a kind, so be our guest and do as you like, Yay, Yeah! (Yay, Yeah!)
Anything goes, you see, at this spectacular party,
I'm so happy, I could just burst into laughter! Uh Yeah

Good morning! Morning! Don’t worry!
Just take a look—the sun has risen, Yay, Yeah! (Yay, Yeah!)
The light that glistens and glows—
It's right under your nose.
I could just burst into song and dance…
Any day of the week!

Good morning!
It's our celebration,
Good morning!
Can't stop moving, let's start the party…

NOTE: Translation notes contain major spoilers for chapter 1 of the main story.

1. Kafka's name is written as 大黒可不可.

2. Yukikaze's name is written as 神名雪風.
  • The word 名残り雪 refers to the last bit of snow before spring.
  • 神風 (shinpuu or kamikaze) literally means "divine wind" or "typhoon", though we usually take it to refer to Japanese military aviators.

3. Renga's name is written as 西園練牙.
  • The lyrics replace the word teeth in "grit your teeth" with the word 牙 (fangs). This word is pronounced as "kiba", the nickname of the original Renga.
  • Although I translated the word 未練 as "thing filling you with regret", which reflects Liguang's feelings about Kiba, it can also be translated as "lingering attachment", which more accurately reflects Renga's feelings.
  • The phrase 東西南北 means "east, west, south, and north", with the 西 in Nishizono meaning "west".
  • なんのソノ means "no big deal"/"nothing to sweat about", with ソノ being pronounced as "sono".

4. Liguang's name is written as 鹿礼光.
  • The word 回礼 refers to customary visits with friends and family, typically during New Year's.
  • 鹿鳴 literally means "deer calls", but in The Classic of Poetry, a Chinese collection of ancient poetry, it is used to refer to song and festivities meant to entertain guests, reflecting the mayors' role as tour guides.

5. Ten's name is written as 叢雲添.
  • 月に叢雲花に風 is a Japanese figure of speech that literally means "clouds over the moon, wind in the flowers", and refers to how even in happy moments, bad occurrences are never far away.
  • The phrase 付き添う means to accompany. Altogether, the line literally means something along the lines of "We'll be there for you even when life gets to you".

6. This line includes the word もてなす, which is the verb form of our favorite word "omotenashi", or hospitality.

7. The word 闇雲, literally "dark clouds", means "blindly" or "recklessly", with 雲 also being a part of Ten's name. Also, for what it's worth, the word for light is 光, which is the second character in Liguang's given name (I guess they couldn't find a place to stick it in the earlier lines?)
