Hiiro: Good evening, pardon my intrusion! I’m Hiiro Amagi!

Tomoya: Woah, don’t scare me like that. Could you at least knock?

Mayoi: P-Pardon my intrusion… I’m Mayoi Ayase…

Tomoya: Um, this is your room too, Ayase-senpai. You don’t have to be so reserved.

Well, whatever. Sit wherever you’d like.

I’m just gonna jump into the main topic. You said you wanna know more about the “Wonderland” live, right?

Hiiro: Yep, that’s right. We were trying to think if there’s anything ALKALOID could do right now.

And then I remembered the conversation we had in the classroom that one evening… And I thought it’d be nice if we could participate as well.

Tomoya: ‘Kay. I looked into a bunch of different things for the application, so I’ll tell you as much as I can.

Mayoi: …The live is themed around Alice in Wonderland, correct?

Tomoya: That’s right. It’s a large-scale fusion live themed around Alice in Wonderland that has multiple units participating.

But each unit is being assigned a character from Alice in Wonderland, so there’s a limit on the number of units that can participate in the live.

Hiiro: Characters… Besides Alice, I believe there’s also the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts.

Mayoi: …? Hiiro-san, didn’t you say you only read the very beginning?

Since when did you get so knowledgeable about the story?

Hiiro: I thought it’d be unbecoming to be ignorant of the story's contents, so I rushed to the book room and read it in preparation for the live ♪︎

Tomoya: I also went straight to the library~ But I really wanted to get a grasp of the original text, so I ended up buying it myself.

…But well, if you’re talking about notable characters, you’re pretty much down to only the characters Amagi mentioned.

To participate, first you gotta apply for your desired character. After that is the selections. They screen you and decide if you can participate or not.

There’s no way we could pass up a role that’d let us use our selling-point, cuteness, to its fullest! So we really wanna participate as our desired character!

…That’s why Ra*bits is applying for the White Rabbit role.

Mayoi: I see… So it’s not the kind of live you can get to participate in through enthusiasm alone, even if you’re as determined as Mashiro-san is…

Hiiro: But there’s still a chance that we’ll be able to participate.

It’d be difficult for us to rack up any achievements by the time SS rolls around if we just stick to our normal lives.

That said, it would take a lot of time to plan everything from scratch ourselves, and I doubt that anything we do plan could be on the same scale as Feather Touch…

So we have to participate in large-scale lives that are already being held.

Tomoya: Uh, alright. I don’t really get what’s going on, but you’re thinking this through a lot more deliberately than I thought you would, Amagi. I’m kinda surprised.

I totally get you, though. I really wanna participate and make the live a success too, for Ra*bits’ sake.

Hiiro: Yes, let’s both try our best!

So, what process do we need to undergo in order to participate?

Tomoya: First would be getting the materials, I guess. I think if you ask Anzu-san or the office, you can receive them right away.

Then you read over the outline carefully, fill out the required forms, and go to get a referral…

You also have to write up something to promote yourself, so there’s a lot you gotta do. The application deadline is coming up, so you better hurry!

Hiiro: Thank you, everything you’ve told us is a big help!

 

… I really respect you, Mashiro-kun.

Tomoya: Where’d that come from?! It’s not like I’m doing anything special~?

Hiiro: No, you really are amazing. Not only do you gather information for any lives your unit could participate in yourself, but you also bring them to fruition.

As the leader of Ra*bits, you’re carrying out your duty for your unit’s sake, are you not?

Tomoya: I feel like you’re exaggerating when you put it that way…

But I’m trying my best in my own way, so it makes me happy to hear that.

Hiiro: I need to learn from you.
 

Mayoi: ……

Tomoya: Ahaha, I’m pretty sure there are a lot of better people for you to learn from than me, though.

Like, your roommate Hinata has been a leader since our first year, so he has a lot more experience. Why don’t you try asking him about it sometime?

Tomoya: You sure are motivated~ But I’m sure Anzu-san and the office workers will help you, so good luck! I’m cheering you guys on.

Speaking of which, what character are you gonna apply for?

I said I’m gonna cheer you on, but if you want the same character, that’d make it pretty awkward…

Hiiro: Fufu, there’s no need to worry about that. I think Ra*bits is perfect for the White Rabbit role.

I plan to request whichever character suits Alkaloid best, just as you are doing for Ra*bits ♪︎
