Akira: … Aah, hot dogs taste the best on the way back from patrol!

One barely lasts for a few seconds before I gobble it all up… ‘ight, I guess I’ll eat another one. Buyin’ a bunch was the right call for sure.

Will: If you eat too much now, you won’t be hungry in time for dinner, Akira.

Akira: Don’t worry, I’ll be hungry in no time once I work up a sweat.

Will: Haha, I feel like you used to say that all the time.

Akira: That so?

Will: Walking home with you like this makes me feel really nostalgic, y’know.

Since we stayed in dorms when we were at the academy, we didn’t really get to walk home together…

So just walking back together like this… is something we haven’t done since Ren entered the academy, right?

Akira: Ya sure remember a lot about back then.

Will: … I mean, you guys always racked my nerves, so…

You always end up running off to somewhere or another, and Ren gets lost the second you take your eyes off him.

Akira: That dude’s directionally challenged, after all.

Will: You caused me all sorts of trouble, too. I’d always lose sight of you while I was searching for Ren… since you’re quick on your feet.

Haha, I feel like I spent all my time searching for you guys back then.

But you always ended up finding Ren before I did… and just when I thought that I finally found you two, you guys came to me instead.

Saying stuff like “where were ya going, Will? Didya get lost?”...

Akira: Huh? That happened?

Will: It did. And many times, at that.

Akira: Hmm…

I try to leave the past in the past, so I completely forgot about all that.

Will: Ahaha, well that’s just typical Akira for you.

You two caused me all sorts of trouble, but those are memories I could never forget. I mean that in a good way, of course…♪︎
