Ritsu: You don’t have to worry about your volume, Secchan. I’m pretty sure the weekly cleaning’s today, so there shouldn’t be anyone sleeping here.
Izumi: So? We could at least do, like, the bare minimum and be polite?
Makoto: Hehe, you’re surprisingly well-mannered in that regard, Sena-senpai.
Tsukasa: Sometimes a little too well-mannered, I think. Like he’s a naggy sister-in-law or something.
Izumi: Who’s a “naggy sister-in-law”?
You’re gonna have a hard time in the adult world if you don’t mind your manners, y’know? I’m here to set a good example for you.
Ritsu: Hehe. In any case, this is the nap room in question. We thought it might be easier to explain what happened here…
Suuchan, “Yuu-kun”, can you two try recreating the moment you switched bodies?
Tsukasa: Alright… I’m pretty sure I was sleeping in this nook right over here.
Makoto: And I was lined up against the wall, right by Yuuki-senpai’s side.
I believe you were here resting first, and then I joined you later on.
Tsukasa: Yep. Oh, right, Ritsu-kun hogs this futon all the time and acts like it’s his…
So it’s kind of an unspoken rule to be considerate of that and not use it.
Ritsu: Mhm. Sure, they clean the futons, but I still don’t wanna be sleeping in one that smells like other people.
Every time someone new comes in, I tell them not to use this one.
Izumi: Haha, look at you, acting like you own the place… Kind of obnoxious, but that’s Kuma-kun for you, right?
And it’s just like Kasa-kun to totally ignore that and use it anyway ♪
Tsukasa: Uh, well, it’s not like he had a choice, right? He probably would’ve slept somewhere else if he could, y’know?
Makoto: Exactly. I believe I’ve already mentioned this, but it was quite crowded, so most of the spaces were already occupied. It couldn’t be helped, you see.
I didn’t want to disturb the rest of those already there, so I headed toward the wall as quietly as I could…
I took off my blazer to prevent it from getting wrinkled, and laid down on my side.
Tsukasa: Hehe, it’s pretty rare for you to sleep anywhere besides your house, so you were pretty excited, right?
Izumi: … Well, we don’t really do stuff like overnight camps that much. Kasa-kun’s family’s pretty strict, so it’s a huge pain just getting permission for him to stay over for a night.
Tsukasa: Yeah… Trickstar does stuff like that all the time, so Suou-kun was probably jealous… I think.
Makoto: Fufu, we should get back on topic. In any case, that’s how the two of us ended up side by side…
I believe you were the first to awake, Yuuki-senpai?
Tsukasa: That’s right. I fell asleep first… so I got up first too.
He kept tossing and turning, surprisingly, so he rolled right over next to me, which is why we were sleeping together.
I-I think… I think he’s used to sleeping in a bed, so he had trouble falling asleep.
Makoto: That’s correct. And I must’ve startled Yuuki-senpai when he awoke to me sleeping right by his side.
He unwittingly voiced his surprise, which is what caused me to wake up.
We were quite flustered at that time, weren’t we?
I kept apologizing to Yuuki-senpai for moving around so much, and we started discussing how we found ourselves in such a situation.
Tsukasa: Yep. I mean, there were still other people sleeping around us, so we were just whispering back and forth, though.
Izumi: What the hell? I wish something like that could happen between me and Yuukun…
—I mean… Not to ask an obvious question, but why were the two of you using the nap room in the first place?
Tsukasa: In my case, I’ve been staying overnight for lessons since SS is right around the corner. The rest of Trickstar was sleeping in the nap room with us too.
Makoto: Yes. However, Anzu... Onee-sama apparently returned home for the night, as it wouldn’t do for a lady to stay as well.
Akehoshi-senpai did the same, as he did not want to leave his mother in her lonesome.
Izumi: Hmm… Oh yeah, doesn’t that orange guy only have a mom, or something?
Makoto: That’s right, and the same can be said for Yuuki-senpai. I’m sure that similarity is something they can bond over.
In any case, Yuuki-senpai had been staying overnight, but I merely entered in the early hours of the day to rest for a short while.
Though I am ashamed to admit such a thing, I am lacking in both experience and stamina, so I was rather exhausted…
I came to school to accompany Sena-senpai with his practice; however, lacking in the energy for such rigorous exercise as it were, I elected to rest in order to replenish my strength.
Tsukasa: Yep. Suou-kun heard about the nap room from Ritsu-kun, and had been interested in trying it… apparently.
He wanted to see what sleeping in a futon was like.
Izumi: Kasa-kun always seems to be interested in whatever us common folk are doing, huh?
There’s nothing wrong with being so curious, of course, but… Why aren’t you already satisfied? I’m sure you’re living lavishly at home, being the rich boy you are.
Tsukasa: I don’t think he’s not satisfied. But based on what I heard, his home life isn’t that luxurious, contrary to popular belief. Butterfly Dream Masterlist
