(Moving to the living room for a change of pace was a good call. I managed to get a good chunk of my work done…)

Chief: Shumai?

(Ah, since Kafka’s away for work today, Renga-kun's walking Shumai instead, right?)

That time already, huh…

Shumai: Woof ♪

Renga: Ya brought the leash over all by yourself? That's a good boy… Excited for our walk?

Hang on for just a sec, I gotta get rea—

Chief: Renga-kun?
 

Renga: YEEP?!

Chief: Ah, my bad! Didn't mean to spook you there…

Renga: D-Don't jump out of nowhere! You'll scare Shum—I mean, the dog!

Chief: (You seem a lot more startled, though…)

Ah, thanks for always taking over for Kafka. He can never find the time at this point in the week.

Renga: The dog won't stop bugging me otherwise! I'm just lending my good graces.

Shumai: Woof ♪

Chief: (But no matter what work he has to do, he always takes the time to walk Shumai. Kinda makes you think he really loves dogs…)

Can I join you guys…?

Renga: Huh?! N-No way…! Uh… the dog'll get nervous.

Chief: (I thought it'd make a nice breather, but I guess not…)

Shumai: *whine*...

Renga: What's up… you want this guy to come along?

Shumai: Woof!

Renga: … Fine. If the dog wants you to. Just follow along.

Chief: Ah, thanks!

Renga: We gotta put his harness on first. Want to give it a try?

Chief: Can I?

(Kafka’s always the one to do it, so I wonder if I can pull it off…)

You have any tricks?

Renga: Watch closely now. First, you stick his head through the small hole, and the big hole goes around his torso.

Fix the clasp and you're good to go.

Chief: Wow…!

Renga: Nifty, right? It took me a buncha practi—

—Uh, nevermind.

Shumai: Ruff ruff!

Renga: Woah, hey, calm down! Don't worry, your walk's not goin’ anywhere.

… Ahem. Time to go, dog!

Shumai: Woof!

Chief: You're super used to this, huh? Shumai sure behaves when he has his leash on.

Renga: H-Hmph. Who do you think you're talking to? Stuff like this is a piece a cake.

But why'd you wanna come along?

Chief: I just wanted to see what your walks are like!

Plus, once R1ze gets more busy, we might not get a chance to do this later… right?
 

Renga: … I'd still go with you, though.

Chief: Hm?

Shumai: Arf arf!

Renga: Want us to hurry up? Haha, don't push yourself.

Chief: Renga-kun, did you—

Renga: … *clears throat* C'mon, we can't let the dog get the lead on us.

Chief: (I'm sure of it, he must've said…)
