Renga: Our next stop's this park.

Chief: You guys go quite the distance, huh!

Shumai: Arf!

Chief: Woah, he sat on the bench…

Renga: The dog's usually tired out by now, so I let him rest here. We should take a break too.

Shumai: Woof woof!

Renga: I know, I know.

Chief: (He's used to holding him too…)

Renga: ……

Shumai: WOOF!

Chief: (Shumai's settling down on Renga-kun's lap…)
 

Renga: ……

Chief: (He rolled over and showed his belly…! Renga-kun's not saying anything, but he's sure used to pampering Shumai.)

Um… thanks for always taking such good care of Shumai. I've got no place to be saying that, though…

Renga: …!

Ah, right…

… I figured I'd have to tell you sooner or later…

Chief: (Huh… H-He has something to tell me…?!)

Renga: The truth is—

I really love dogs.
 

Chief: O-Oh…
 

(I-I figured as much… It's not hard to guess, when he acts like that…)

Chief: I-I see!

Renga: Not just Shumai either— big dogs, little dogs, mutts… they're all super adorable to me. I sometimes play with other dogs at the park.

Chief: Ooh…!

Chief: ……

Renga: ……

Chief: ……

Renga: … Ah, well… you wouldn't think I'd like dogs so much, right?

Chief: That's not true. There are no bad animal lovers, and I know that goes for you too.

Renga: Chief…!

 
Renga: I thought… it'd be alright to tell you. About me and Shumai's secret.

Chief: Your secret…?

Renga: Take a look.

Chief: This is…!

Renga: I've taken a buncha photos of Shumai's cute points during our walks. Look, I got a great shot of his smile when he looked back at me.

Chief: They're all super cute!

Renga: I've got more. This is… a video of him acting all spoiled on my lap.

Chief: So cuuute…! Not your everyday shot, huh~!

Renga: This is him whining about not wanting to go home yet.

Renga: I wouldn't mind showing you my secret collection again. I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a more lively walk every once in a while.

Chief: R-Really?

Renga: There are no bad dog lovers. I'm sure of that.

Chief: (I guess that means he trusts me… I'm glad!)
 

Renga: Oh, but, um… keep this between the two of us, yeah?

Chief: Will do…! Ah, but since you like dogs so much, would you like to try going to a dog cafe together?

Renga: Y-You’d want to?! Really?!

Chief: Of course I would! I'm sure I'd have a bunch of fun if I went with you.

Renga: So we can go to a puppy paradise…! I'm already getting stoked…!

Shumai: Bark bark bark!

Renga: Hey, don't get mad! You know you're my number one, dontcha?!

Shumai: Grr!

Renga: C'mon… I'm sorry, okay…? I'll buy you some of those fancy treats to make it up to you…

Shumai: Woof ♪
