Kafka
Kafka
All I hear is the rain beating against the window
As it gleams before running off,
And I’m brought back to my boring old room.
Please, at least tell me where you came from…
All I feel is the chill of the glass
And all I see is my lone reflection.
I find myself asking
How this will all come to an end,
And receive no answer.
It was just the rain and me
Until you snuck your way in,
Inch by inch.
You gave me a tomorrow,
And countless days beyond that.
Since when were we always together?
As if reading a picture book,
You tell me of your adventures.
Not one scene escapes my view.
The rain harmonizes with your voice.
Please, take me with you.
And when the rain finally stops…
I’ll take your hand myself, and bring you
Wherever you wish to be.
